I am listing here the method to create CMS Blocks.
Suppose you want a custom box to be displayed on right column.
1) Go to admin section there is menu &#8216;Static Blocks&#8217; in &#8216;CMS&#8217;.
2) Click &#8216;Add New Block&#8217;.
