Thanks for suggestion,
I am developing this component further in which I have added &lt;strong&gt;configure&lt;/strong&gt; section where you can give the custom directory name  and can modify the extension types and some more stuff.
I am also thinking of developing a plugin so that by writing only the name of the file in the article, it will be replaced by downloadable link.</description>

I would like to suggest that you should extend it so that the user can define the target directory for the uploaded files.
For example I would like my editors to upload pictures to images/stories and other editors to upload documents to another folder, so it would be very helpful to have 2 menu links with different upload locations / thanks for consideration !  Cheers, Chris</description>
